Reuters photographer David Mdzinarishvili travelled to the tiny Georgian village of Makarta to photograph nine-year-old Bacho Tsiklauri, who is the only pupil at his local primary school. Makarta stands in a remote mountain gorge and has around 30 residents including four children: three older ones who attend high school in a neighboring village, four kilometers away, and Bacho who is still at primary school.
